The Online Reference Services for
L.I.S. is the first online reference service in Vizag,
organized by Md.Shafi Its mission is to provide high-quality
professional reference service and knowledge navigation,
and it is a new measure of the Dept. Library & Information
Science (Andhra University) to improve online professional
services and enhance the ability of knowledge navigation.
This Online Reference Service depends on the rich collections
of the various libraries, draws information from the
Internet and uses different kinds of information retrieval
skills, to provide professional services.
